Prolific Blogger Award

I’ve apparently been nominated by Dave Ebright, author of  “Bad Latitude,” for the Prolific Blogger Award.

There are many wonderful bloggers out there, and I really do not come anywhere near their level. But I will take my own advice and just say “thank you” to Dave for adding me to his list.

I’ve decided to pass this award on to some people I have met during my short time in the blogging community who have served as an inspiration to me, have given me plenty to think about, and a few chuckles along the way.

The seven individuals I have chosen are Tricia Sutton, Jennifer Neri, Linda– Out of my Mind, Ev– Write here, Write now,  Leah– Unleash the Flying Monkeys, Kayla—- Owl and Sparrow and Helen, Newtowritinggirl.

Ladies, you have  been an inspiration !

As with most things there are rules that go along with the award and, as we all know, rules were meant to be broken so I will leave it up to each recipient to decide what they wish to do with their award.

So,  here are Prolific Blogger Award Rules:

Every winner is expected to pass on this award to at least seven other deserving prolific bloggers, to link to the blog from which he/she has received the award and, to also link back to this post, which explains the award. As if that isn’t enough you are also asked to visit the above post and add your name to the list.

That’s it! Pretty simple.

  1. Laura, that’s so sweet of you, thank you! :) I love the rest of your choices, and feel honored to be grouped in such great company. I’m looking forward to checking out Ev & Leah, since they’re the only two I’ve never read.

  2. My first blog award nomination! Thank you so much for thinking of me and I will definitely do my best to abide by the award rules; although, it may take me a day or two to narrow down my favorite blogs to a list of only seven.

Aside from Ev’s site, I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting the others yet, so that’ll be something fun to do in the evenings this week. Watch out, ladies. You’ve been warned. I love to leave comments of epic proportions. Okay, maybe not ‘epic’…

Thank you again, Laura. Your comments on my blog really kept me going all those months when no one else knew I existed in the blogosphere. And, for the record, I think you definitely deserved Dave’s nomination.

    • Your more than welcome, Leah. I’m sure for whatever reasons we are drawn to certain blogs and that is how I felt about yours. Glad you hung in there!

  4. Laura, thanks for your very kind comment at my blog today. I think it’s nice to have a way of acknowledging those people in the blogosphere whose blogs and writing somehow connect with us. I’m glad Dave chose you for the award because you definitely deserve it. The sincerity and honesty of your writing makes this a very nice place to visit! :)

  5. I think this reply will be copying everything the others say…

Thank you so much Laura; you’ve just made a horrible Monday morning great. It’s also my first blogging award, what an honour. I still find it hard to believe people regularly read and enjoy something I write – it’s such a great feeling though :-)

You definitely deserve the award too, I really enjoy reading your blog. If there was an award for the best, most inspiring comments I’d give it to you in a flash!

  6. Dear Laura,

Oh, wow and thanks! I was very flattered that you of all people would award _me_ the Prolific Blogger Award. I’m really glad we’ve “met.”

And now what might be me breaking the rules: I’m re-awarding you the Prolific Blogger Award for reasons explained on my blog. I don’t think you need to go through the whole process again, but you should definitely celebrate again with good chocolate or wine or something. ;-)

    • Thanks so very much, Ev. And I’m glad you’ve stipulated that I don’t have to go through the process again. It was difficult enough to narrow it down the first time.

As for chocolate..hmmmm..I think I’ve been celebrating too much this winter, perhaps I’ll just have some wine….
