Just one of those weeks

It’s just been one of those weeks. I can’t say I’ll be sorry to see it come to an end. Evenings have been a blur. Last night I crawled off to bed at 9 o’clock. I don’t know when the last time I’ve done that. Sheesh! I haven’t even got a clue as to who got booted off American Idol this week. If you’re reading this and you know please do tell. I’m behind in visiting my regular blogs. I have managed to get a little reading time in but I’ll get around to all of them real soon.

Wow! That sounded like whining to me. Did that sound like whining to you?

There is a new blog I’m fast becoming a regular reader of and if you click on the link you quickly see why. At least there’s been a bright spot to my days…

Charlotte’s Weblog

I’m still picking away at my short story, the one I promised myself I’d have finished by week’s end. It’s the last in a collection of linked stories or at least I hope it’s the last. I guess time will tell. A little bit of polish afterward and it’ll be set to go!

So how’s your week going? Have you accomplished everything you set out to do? Or are you like me, just waiting for the week to come to an end?

    So did you finish it?????????????

We had a pretty fussy afternoon here… I’m glad it’s the weekend so I’ll have some help through the day from B. I was beat by the time he got home!

He’s out right now getting me a Snickers. Mmmm. Snickers.

    • There’s nothing like a Snickers unless it’s a Mars. Hope you get rested over the weekend. Nope didn’t write this evening and tomorrow we’re helping Michelle move. I’m very close, though…very close.

Maybe the planets just aligned wrong this week because I had a rough time too. I am definitely looking forward to a better time next week, in part because I just ordered a copy of Bitter, Sweet on amazon.com and it should arrive next week. I can’t wait to read it! And congratulations, grandma!

    • Aah, that’s SO nice of you, Joyce. I hope you enjoy the book and I so hope you’re soon feeling better. Being a grandma is pretty neat. Wish the family was a bit closer but we’re hoping to visit again in early June, and having the blog to read helps us to feel more connected..

  3. My week was good! Although time seems to go by SO quickly. I need more hours in the day to do everything I want.

    Your granbaby is adoreable. Congratulations.

    • I agree about needing more hours in a day. Apparently time seems to goe faster as we age, or so I’m told.

Thanks for the Congrats, Gayle. She is pretty darn cute!
