A copy of Vernon Oickle’s new book, One Crow Sorrow, is sitting on my desk at the moment. I’m not yet certain when I’ll have time to read it, but it’ll eventually make it to the top of my reading pile.
If you’re local, you’ll recognize Vernon as the editor of The Bridgewater Bulletin and The Progress Enterprise. One Crow Sorrow has a local setting for anyone who’s interested in reading about places and names they’re familiar with. (That would be me, of course.)
The book is published by Bryler Publications, a publisher in Chester committed to helping those authors whose work is worthy of a “second look.” Vernon’s book is available at Chapters and there’s also a supply at Sagors bookstore in Bridgewater and books can be order directly from Bryler Publications. This is Vernon’s thirteenth book.
Congratulations, Vernon, on the publication of your book. I wish you much success!

/ November 22, 2010Not sure I’ll review the book, Joylene. I don’t consider myself a reviewing kind of reader.

I’m reading it now and enjoying every page. Nice to feel like I’m in NS
when I’m really in Montreal!
