Butterflies

  2. I adore butterflies. What a beautiful card your friend gave you! A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to play flute for a Butterfly Bereavement Ceremony. All the bereaved families got a live butterfly in a box. I played the flute and led them out to the garden where they released their butterflies in memory of their lost loved ones. I released one in memory of my daughter. Such a powerful ceremony and more than ever I love butterflies and what they symbolize.
