Who would have thought that Bitter, Sweet would make it into a Hallmark movie?
You might have to look closely ..
The movie, November Christmas, was filmed in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, and while I knew some Nimbus books had been requested for the set, no one knew for sure which ones might make a cameo appearance.
Yup, that’s my book alright!!
Gotta say, this is pretty darn sweet!!

/ December 2, 2010What’s funny is that my husband was at a shop in Wolfville one evening this week and the clerk there was excited and telling him about the Hallmark movie that had been filmed there and shown on TV. The camera crew had used their shop some of the time for its vantage point. I was able to tell him your book was in that movie.
My gosh, Laura! It is amazing to me how much publicity your book has received, you must be so thrilled! Congratulations!

/ November 14, 2011To you Laura Best. Besides, it’s a wonderful life, my husband and I think this is our favorite Christmas movie. It is heart wrenching and heart warming. To get Sam Elliott to play a lead. How lucky you made it and how lucky we are to read the book and see the movie. You are blessed. Happy Christmas’s forever.
