We missed the scarecrow festival in Mahone Bay the other weekend because of the rainy weather. It was one of the events I had wanted to take in this year, but sometimes things in life don’t work out the way we plan. Still, there were plenty of scarecrows hanging around this weekend when we took a drive to the shore. Here’s a peak at a few of them.

/ October 17, 2011What a fun application of creativity! Great variety! With Halloween approaching I wonder if one I discovered last year will turn up again. Whenever I drove by the house it seemed like the same old guy was always napping in the swing on their porch. On closer inspection it was a scarecrow lounging there, hat tipped over its non-existent face. LOL.

That said, we might all have a definition of what extraordinary means to each one of us. It might not necessarily be something earth shattering, yet we can all make a difference.
