The book launch for Cammie Takes Flight took place at the community centre in East Dalhousie. My oldest daughter suggested the signage and I have to say the play on words made more than one person smile.
I loved this reproduction of the book cover my very talented friends made. (They really spoil me and I love them for it! xo) I’ve got to be honest, if you’re having a book launch the ladies from E. Dalhousie are the BEST.
Reading from your book in public for the very first time is always fun, and Cammie is such an interesting character. I love the way she sees the world.
I talked and laughed and signed some books. It was all good.
Here’s the guy who always stands in the sidelines, always comes to my readings and signings without complaint. I’m not sure it’s always easy to be married to a writer, yet where would we be without the support of our significant other.
