Some days I feel like a winner. I just bet you do too!
A few months back Hubby and I bought some tickets on a new vehicle. The tickets were being sold by the Shriners and they do a lot of good work for sick kids so we didn’t mind shelling out a few bucks, not only for ourselves, but our kids and Miss Charlotte too.
Now, right from the start Hubby and I knew we were destined to win that brand-spanking new vehicle although, truthfully, we’d discussed taking the $25,000 in cash instead. That way we could still share with the kids. It’s kind of hard to split a vehicle three ways. Um, four if you take Miss Charlotte into consideration. Oh, and we might like a share in it as well. I guess that makes five!
So who do you think might have won? Yup, you guess it, someone I’d never heard tell of. Ah well, those things happen.
Still, I ended up being a winner today regardless. When I got home from town an email was awaiting me that I was the winner of Linda Cassidy- -Lewis’ new book, “An Illusion of Trust,” a sequel to “The Brevity of Roses.” It’s a five day contest and today is day 2. Might I suggest you pop on over to Linda’s blog (Here’s the link) and find out how you can be entered to win your very own copy. Now, it’s an ebook, (and that’s a first for me) but it can be downloaded onto your computer even if you don’t have a kindle. I’m planning to borrow some highspeed sometime in the future. 🙂
So how about you, do you feel like a winner? Have you won anything recently?
