charlotte’s book blog

Just thought I’d direct your attention to a new blog all about books. You’ll find book reviews on charlotte’s book blog as well as other book related themes, written my my daughter and granddaughter. Already, Miss Charlotte has her preferences for certain books so who better to help out with the reviews?

It’s a great little blog, one that I hope will grow along with Miss Charlotte. Okay so I’m biased, sue me.

I just can’t stress enough the importance of introducing books to your kids at a young age. It doesn’t guarantee that they’ll be books fiends all their lives, but at least you know that you’ve done your part. The rest will be up to them.

  4. In our family babies and books are an inseparable combination, and most of the babies have grown into book loving children and adults. Miss Charlotte is blessed to have the influence of a mom and grandma who love books and want to share and encourage her in that love. I’m off to check out her blog. 🙂

  5. She hit on a great idea for a blog and I enjoy following her posts. She has found some wonderful books for her precious little one to enjoy and ‘cut her teeth’ on. 🙂

  6. Thank you all for commenting. WE all seem to have something in common our love for books and babies.Put the two together and we’re smiling from ear to ear. I’m so pleased that Charlotte already loves books and reading. I’m hoping this love for reading is something that she will carry through with her all of her life. 🙂

I look forward to the day when she is old enough to read my books. That will be pretty cool!

Literature might not last forever, (there’s even grave doubts about mankind achieving that) but if it’s really good, it will definitely survive the author. I have personally wept and laughed because of words written hundreds, perhaps thousands of years ago. It’s a wonderful literary legacy you’ve created, Laura, and continue to create— not only for the precious Charlotte but for generations to come.
